Let’s just say… my last blog post was many moons ago. Life has been a cacophony of projects, parenting (human and avian), opportunities, heartbreak, and love. But I’m back with fresh updates, behind-the-scenes peeks, and lots of nerdy business & branding magic to share.

Who’s Behind the DM Screen?

Hi! I’m Jaime (she/her), and I run Spellbound Creative Studio, a brand and web design studio for bold, unconventional business owners who love storytelling, world-building, and immersive experiences.

Think of me as your creative partner. I’m your brand strategist, world-builder, and visual storyteller all rolled into one.

I help you:

• Build a brand that feels like stepping into a whole new world
• Design a website that welcomes your customers into the fold and invites them to stay a while
• Align your message, visuals, and customer experience so everything feels just right

No matter your brand’s overall vibe, I’m here to help bring that world to life. Visually, emotionally, and strategically. (I’ll also take every opportunity to send potential customers & clients your way.)

A Peek Into My Backstory (it’s not all design related, but it is all escapism related)

Before launching Spellbound Creative Studio, I earned my degree in Media & Information at Michigan State University, with a minor in Game Design & Development. That’s where I fell in love with the art of visual storytelling and learned how to create rich & immersive experiences through 2D and 3D design.

But even before that, I was a lifelong nerd. Some highlights of my chaotically escapist life include:

🎮 25+ years of gaming experience

📚 Reading romantasy novels (yes, book recs are always welcome! Gimme allll the books!)

🎨 Painting, drawing, and experimenting with hands-on media like pottery and glass

🐦 Surrendering my life to 8 parrots (aka, feathered dictators)

🧝‍♀️ Writing fantasy fiction (someday I’ll publish a novel!)

🌲 Wandering the woods in search of portals to the fae realm so I can stop paying bills here

I’m also a partner, mom, and solopreneur balancing it all on a desire to pursue and support dreams, lots of unfinished passion project WIPs, star-reaching, and more caffeine than any one person should consume in a single day.
